BHW New Build will be exhibiting at the Help to Buy Roadshows in Derby and Leicester. These free to attend events aim to help people struggling to get on, or move up, the property ladder.
On Saturday 20th October, the Derby Conference Centre on London Road, Derby will play host to the Help to Buy Derby show. While on Saturday 3rd November, the Grand Hotel, Leicester will host the Help to Buy Leicester event.
Both shows will bring together a wide range of experts who can provide first-time buyers, growing families, downsizers and those looking to relocate, with information on the government schemes that can help them into their ideal home.
Margaret Snook, Head of Help to Buy Midlands said: “I would encourage anyone who is thinking seriously about buying a home to come along to the show. Whether they are looking to purchase outright, or on a shared ownership basis, they can take advantage of the free guidance and financial help that is on offer.”
The shows, which will run from 10am to 3:30pm, will also feature a Mortgage Advice Zone, where visitors can meet with an advisor on a one-to-one basis for a free financial assessment.
Entry to the show is free and exhibitors will include house builders, housing associations, mortgage providers and solicitors.
Visitors can register in advance for tickets at helptobuymidlands.co.uk.
Since its launch in 2013, the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme has enabled approximately 150,000 people to fund the purchase of their new-build property – with eight out of 10 being first-time buyers. It has also been of real benefit to the troubled property market, increasing the housing supply in the UK consecutively for the last four years.
